    too much banana..

    I have never really cared for the amount of drop on these locks.. for most builds that is.. Sometimes change is needed. It doesn't look like much, but this raises the tail end up over 1/8".. although many would never know or be able to tell, it will make a big difference on the overall...

    90 degree depth gauge..

    Alright getting a few questions about my barrel depth gauge. Hope these pictures help. A 90 degree angle will work on any round, oct/rnd, oct. swamped barrel along any point. As long as your are inletting the barrel halfway and as long as you have the side profiles properly marked. :thumbsup...

    killer Jane...

    Well Boys.. and Girls.. Jane has served me well.. 60 grains of 2F over the powder wad and a .600 roundball in .020 pillow ticking seems to do the trick. unofficially 84yds(will check again in the morning) exit wound I shot her in the last moments of daylight. Heard a crack sound right...

    Been collecting parts for some time now.. And ya'll know I like plain guns.. Well this one is for me. Alrighty.. 46" Charles Burton 20 gauge barrel stocked in walnut sheet brass trigger gaurd and a Davis lock. I jug choked the barrel going to see what she does with some shot :grin:

    Adding a fly to a lock..

    Sort of a visual how to :haha: I started out by heating it up bright and letting it cool in ash to take the temper out.. Drilled the pivot hole and scribed where I wanted the fly to go Engraved chiseled and filed makings of a fly getting it shaped almost there all...
