    Help a new shooter out.

Any site that doesn't have the ability to pay with a credit card (and the ability to charge back if they scam you) is a scam site. There are a lot of them out there nowadays which is pretty disgusting. I bought slixshot nipples because the only caps I could find were #11 CCI, so good luck out...

    1858 Uberti Questions (Video)

Hello there! Made this video with some questions regarding this revolver, hope you can help! For those that can't watch: Lever wobble normal? Fixing scratched off finish with Van's blu, will it match existing bluing? Is there a trick to aligning the pin to the cylinder when putting it in, it...

    Different Ubertis?

Bought a Uberti 1858 from Impact guns and it came in a really banged up looking box but the pistol itself has had no problems that I can tell. The action and cylinder feel excellent. Its a bit difficult to put the cylinder back in, but I think it might be user error? The hand gets in the way...

    Caps in stock

Have you had any progress on your processing of the order? I have yet to get anything past "Order received"

So I was about to pull the Trigger on a nice Uberti 1858 but I think I might change my mind...

For something like a blunderbuss it is useful for people who don't know anything about black powder, hand them one, tell them to tear, then stuff the thing down the end and they are basically good to go. The revolver cartridges seem very fiddly and doesn't realistically change the time to load...

I never thought I would have patience to make ammo either but every once in a while I get into a mood and make like 17 blunder bus cartridges in like an hour and a half of rolling coffee filters and hemp twine haha. Kitchen table arts and crafts

Now I would love to see a movie about a black powder mafia/gang where all the criminals start clearing out local shops for legal firearms fireworks.

Nothing like being held hostage and nodding like a fool as you wish they would check you out faster. 😅 I decided to pull the trigger and buy it. I saw that someone designed a kit to make caps relatively cheaply using soda cans or brass sheets, if I get through these 1000 quickly I might go...

So between the two Slixshots would work better with no modifications on my part?

So I was about to pull the Trigger on a nice Uberti 1858 but I think I might change my mind...

Fair, I think between the hazmat fee and that it seems the only time anything is in stock its in bulk gives me a bit of sticker shock. Would be nice to buy like 2 tins and pay $25 including shipping but maybe I'm just too frugal for my own good. I was having heart attack when I first had to...

Is the cap shortage ever planned on cleaning up? Paying $109 for 1000 caps seems pretty excessive for me, I might end up learning how to make my own.

I'll look into it thanks! I see a lot of people recommending slixshot. Is track of the wolf or slixshot nipples better? Which better fits #11? (I bought 1000 from midsouth)

They are out of stock, only have magnums which I don't believe fit. Do you have any hints where you could find them? Tried the usuals like Dixie, track, midway, etc

I happily had the Revolver and Roundball in the cart, even found a nice coupon for it. Eager to spend my tax return and wife even looking forward to firing it. Then I went to go add some percussion caps to the cart and well... So, I've been a Flintlock guy for a few years and I know some...

    Resetting dovetail alignment.

is something like this what would be needed? https://www.amazon.com/Starrett-B565G-Overall-Length-Diameter/dp/B004124ETG/ref=sr_1_10?crid=1TNDW1SZDK6Z9&keywords=brass+punch&qid=1642690701&sprefix=brass+punch%2Caps%2C81&sr=8-10

    Resetting dovetail alignment.

Thanks for the advice! As I said the front sight isn't really loose, I tried as hard as I could to move it by hand and it won't budge, a mallet has to be involved. I had previously shot at 80 yards with perfect windage, all shooting at 6 or 12'oclock of center. At 30 yards I hit consistent...

    Resetting dovetail alignment.

Yeah it won't currently move by hand, I had to use my rubber mallet to bump it roughly to center. Punching the barrel to make it tighter may be premature as I'm still not sure how to got misaligned. Its possible it was hit on something hard enough to move it while I was taking it out of the...

    Resetting dovetail alignment.

Recently went to the range with some family and was firing at about a 80 yard target and missing constantly. Usually my windage was dead on but my elevation is all over the place (still trying to find the perfect PRB/Powder combo). Well this time I missed every shot I took, then when we shot...

    Kit rifle question

OP what did he hate about the Kibler exactly? Because I've seen dozens of Kiblers which look very different, including my own which is probably one of a kind due to what Dave Person did to it including bending the tang and repositioning the trigger. Did you show him the customer page...
