    Newbie question. Is there a rule of thumb for what size ball to use in any given calibre.

    I have acquired an Enfield musketoon and a BP shotgun. Have authority to purchase .44 and .36 pistols. Decided on Walker but unsure which .36 to go for. Did not know that you could have this much enjoyment without doing something illegal.
