    1861colt lock repair

    my unfired 1861 colt rifle (repoduction) will not stay at full cock. pushing the hammer with your thumb will drop it into the half-cock notch :shake: .i took the lock apart and found the full-cock natch is just a .125 raduis that will not hold the sear is this a repair I could do myself?
