laphroaig 10 is my favorite. Liquid campfire smoke in a bottle. Like a sweet kiss from my cigar eating girlfriend...

    Cleaning Ruger Chambers

Stuck brushes are easy in a revolver cylinder. Just chuck it in a drill motor (like you should have done in the first place) and spin it out.

    Powder Brand Differences

Maybe not but it's closer than Goex in my experience. And cleaner. Edit: I meant to say easier to clean, not cleaner. No such thing as a clean BP :haha:

    Powder Brand Differences

Personally I find Schuetzen powder to be very similar to Swiss and a whole lot less expensive. And Grafs house brand is, in fact, relabeled Schuetzen and less expensive still. My experience is admittedly limited compared to many but it is what it is.

Stock vent liner or RMC lyman and T/C

Here's a 5/16 white lighting on my 15/16 GPR barrel.

Stock vent liner or RMC lyman and T/C

Yes the GPR will need to be re-tapped for the White lightning. And it's not removable for cleaning.

    Pine nuts

They were staples for native Americans living wherever pinion pines thrive. In fact I got these from native Americans near Elko. They're perfectly edible raw, shells and all (being a soft shell variety). But roasting really wakes them up and removes most all of the residual pine sap. Nothing...

    Pine nuts

Fresh from northern Nevada Soak in salt brine for about an hour then roast at 325F for about an hour, stirring occasionally. Easy and highly addicting!

FFF versus FF for Lyman GPR .54

90gr of FFF is my standard load in my .54 GPR. The whole FFF vs FF thing for various rifle calibers is vastly overblown IMHO, especially for patched balls. The only real noticable difference I've found is the FFF fouling tends to be a bit harder in my BPCR rifles.

    Safe black powder storage?

It isn't. But you'll never convince some people of that and you're wasting your time trying.

    Powder horn prices?

I have a 10 inch (ish) flat horn that fits nicely in my pouch or pocket with the plain old plug up. It's also translucent and I can see my powder level. It's a plain Jane but very well made horn and cost $60 from a professional horner.

    Damascus patch knife

The whole striker thing is just an aside that I happened to notice. As you all know, any piece of hardened carbon steel will throw a spark. The handle just fits the hand rather like a striker and if you strike toward the sharp side of the blade, well, lay off the moonshine and enjoy your prize...
