You know The Netherlands? It's that small area around Amsterdam :)
My name is Hans and I have been shooting (with an interuption of about 25 years ...) since long long ago: air pistol and free pistol. Last year I encountered muzzleloading and now I am hooked  I have a Pedersoli Le Page .36 since november and a Hege Uberti New Army (.44) for a few weeks now. It's not only BIG fun, these oldies shoot very well too! Le Page from 88 to 95 and the '58 around 90. I hope to learn a lot from you all!

Grtz, Hans.

Greetings. My Mother's family (Bunce) traces back to somewhere over there. New York City used to be New Amsterdam, after all. But it's been going down-hill since they renamed it so we moved West. :haha:

To homage that and honor my ancestors I carry an ancient porcelin Delft watch-cup in my supplies for a hand and insides warming cup of tea on occasion. :hatsoff:

contribute often.I can't remember another member

country.
snake-eyes :)

Hi Stumpkiller,

Thnx for your message. Bunce is not a Dutch name, never heard of it. The cup you have, we call it 'Delfts blauw' (Blue from Delft). Is it really from Delft? If you ever break it, let me know. I can buy them here by the dozen :)

Grtz, Hans.

Hi all,

Thnx for your kind words of welcome! A pin on the map ... aim carefully! It is left of Germany and somewhere above France ...

Grtz, Hans.

Welcome! The Netherlands is one of my favorite countries. Spent a lot of time around Breda and Oosterhout on business for IBM years ago.

You will enjoy this forum if you like blackpowder and associated skills.

Must be from the Schouten side, then.

Man! It's hard to get an image of the bottom of a white, shiney cup! Modern, but of old design and easier on the lips than a tin teacup. Fits in my corn boiler as well.

That bottom of your Delft-cup looks very authentic! Enjoy your drinks!
