Hi ! I am the older brother of the late Tim Brown a well known Minnesota smoke pole enthusiast and shooter
I have fooled around with muzzle loaders for many years (40 +) I have restored several old ML shotguns (wall hanger junk to shooters).
I have taken deer , ducks, geese , and pheasants and more with smoke poles. I am not the traditionalist my bother was
and consequently shoot contemporary guns as well as the older stuff (I hunt deer with a CVA Paramount). My primary firearms interest is really SxS waterfowl breech-load guns of the 1900 to 1950's era. I have restored Parker's, E.L. Smith's Fox's and the likes to shooting status. I regularly get the itch to shoot my ML guns.
I reside in central Minnesota. I am a bit of an old fart at 79.
With my bothers passing a year ago I have been searching for a source
of ML Information. This site might kelp.
