Johndy is a POS scammer. He is a new member here. He pm me in reference to my ISO post and told me about his "friend" I played along as his friend tried to get me to send money to his paypal. Beware. Johndy I hope you read this. I hope you and all your kind enjoy the eternal flames and the gnashing teeth in the darkness of you know where...

this scammer must have an algorithm on his computer that picks up ISO adds . it's always the same. "i have this friend that has exactly, blah blah! in Texas. pond scum all of them.

No,
He merely reads the ads, and when he sees "wanted" he tries to sucker the person, especially if that person is also "new" to the forum. NOTE the OP just joined this year? He tried this with three or four members in the past week.

He signs up as a new member, makes a few posts to other new members saying "welcome" then sends PM's to folks making offers for stuff that he doesn't normally own.

Johndy has already been banned. There have been some cases where the scammer was blocked when he applied to join, but I won't mention how he was spotted, since he is just smart enough to try to avoid such "giveaways" in the future.

AND it seems it's just one guy doing the "I know a guy..., here' his email address" PM's scam.

When a person with an old membership gets hacked, it's usually a dude out of Eastern Europe.

No need to discuss this further. Don't want to give the guy any tips on how to be a better thief...
