I have a Euroarms Harpers Ferry rifle who’s mainspring has broken in half. Don’t know where to obtain a new one, as Euroarms is no more, it seems. Does anybody know where I can find someone, or an outfit that might be able to reproduce a working mainspring for this lock? Would I have to send the original, or a copy of it from a 3D printer, perhaps? I’m not too sure Track of the Wolf has any spring to fit this particular Euroarms lock, although they do seem to have Harpers Ferry locks available. Any Ideas are certainly appreciated, as I’d really like to get this rifle functioning again.

I’d give Dave Stalvo a call, or Phil Seiss at S&S, they have a good stock of Euroarm pats. If all else fails, I’d look into Dixie Gun Works, they have some blank springs you have fitted.

FWIW, broken mainsprings and frizzen springs were WAY too common on those rifles. So getting a mainspring other than a Euroarms would be well worth the investment.
