I just purchased a used CVA SxS 410 percussion gun. As expected it came with no original box or factory docs. I’m trying to find someone who might have info , parts, loads ,etc and be willing to share a photo copy. The factory customer service has zero info

It was called the "Brittany" in the Gander Mountain catalog I bought it out of. Cost $100.00 new . Made for small person with short arms.

Barrels were tubes set into a figure-8 shaped piece of metal. Mine shot right barrel to the left and vice-versa. Makes me wonder about quality. Hooked breech so cleaning was easy. Trigger pull was precisely tuned to between 15-25 kg. Pretty much a novelty piece at best.

I shot mine using a "square" load of 1/2 oz. shot but have retired it from active service upon thinking on the wisdom of continuing the practice.

Thanks very much for the info. Were there any factory documents that came with it ??

I would be very curious to see :
what the factory load recommendations are?
If there is any choke info ?
I have measured the barrels and both appear to be choked

When your kid is ready, come to this topic and then click on this link.

It will take you to another topic on the forum that tells people how to post pictures here.

Probably the easiest way to do it is to call up the picture on your computer or phone. COPY the picture. Then come back here and PASTE it into your next post. A tiny image of the picture will appear at the bottom of your post. Select either Thumbnail or Full Size to tell the forum how to show it.
For most of us, this works very well.
