    Question on making lead ingots

    Just got all my lead poured out into ingets today......man lots of work and it's cold outside. I used the method posted here with the angle iron. Man it works great,they stack very well. Mine came out from 12oz to 14oz, Made 168 of them! Yowwwwzers, that should pour me a few 32 cal balls? :grin:

    I've looked at that second pic many times,and never posted about it. It has all the essence of what I look for in a great pic,right down to the light in the deers eye. Course the rifle don't hurt that pic none either! :thumbsup:

    Personally, I have had shorter blood trails with my 54. Most deer I shoot, just go straight down. Since you mentioned about the type of hunting you will be doing, I would think that would be an important feature? Now as for the long distance stuff? I would limit that to 100yds.
