    CCI cap problems

The CCI caps are longer than the Rem caps. That`s why they don`t fit. Take your nipple out & turn it in a drill by the threads while filing it down a little & the CCI`s will fit.

    Advantage's and Disadvantage's

You know guys, one thing I don`t understand on here. You all seem to praise Dutch Shoultz & his advice on shooting BP firearms, but you down him on his proven method of waterless cleaning of the firearms.

    Flash cup?

I have flash cups on all my ML`s. They work fine. If you use the ones that are angled, just make sure you mount it so the lowest part is at 2:00 while looking down at it. This way all the flash from the cap will be forced away from the breech & little or no crud will form on the surrounding area.

    CCI cap problems

Weather you use #10`s or 11`s, the CCI caps are longer than the Remington caps. That`s why when using the CCI caps you have to hit them twice. The first blow knocks them all the way down on the nipple & the second blow fires it. If you don`t believe me measure them.

    Zouvae shooters ????

Thanks much guys for the replies. I was thinking nipple problem myself, but wanted to get your input on it. Both the musket nip & the #11 nip have an opening of about 3/16" on the threaded end. Seemed to be awful big to me. I will get a new #11 nip for it. I want to use the #11 nip because I...

    Zouvae shooters ????

I took my new to me Zouvae rifle by Navy Arms to the range yesterday & shot off 48 rounds of Minnie balls. I am quite pleased as how it shoots & it`s very accrete. At 100yds. as long as I was doing my part, shot after shot into a 8" bull. Now here is the problem. Just about every shot the...

    Which one should I get????

OK, I`m already a BP, ML shooter. I don`t hunt anymore, but I do punch a lot of paper from 25 yds. out to 100 yds. I`m interested in getting one of these rifles. They are both Pedersoli`s, they are both in like new condition, both same $$ within $25, & both 50 cal. perc. One is a Kentucky & the...
