    Thanks for all of the input. I’m leaning towards the parts from The Rifle Shoppe. Since the time frame I’m looking for is early 1800’s I think the brass hardware in the English Pattern ( not New English Pattern ) may be my best bet.

    Build Tool / Barrel Support

    I was watching one of Jim Kiblers videos and he was using a support to hold up the end of the rifle he was working on. It looked like it was adjustable and had a 4x4 piece of wood on top. I’d like to get something like this, any idea where I can look?

    My First Flintlock

    Well I just got my first flinter, its a 54 cal JJ Henry. Can't wait to get out and shoot it. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions going forward.
