    This was a Mowry kit, from down in Texas prior to them closing down, as per the paperwork and the newspaper the brass forestock was wrapped in. Not sure if anyone has restarted a reproduction line of those.

    Got a couple milk crates full of the lead weights off some fishing nets, that and did have a guy supplying me with used lead weights out of the PRVR valves he recertifes.

    Interesting learning curve without a rear sight. 50 paces using 70 grains 3F, 4 out of 8 rounds after 2 shots to figure out roughly the cheek weld. Thinking i got a full summer of weekend practice to smooth out the learning curve.

    Lol, well, i didn't aquired it to be politically correct, i got it due to my desire to have and shoot/ hunt with a smoothbore. Are you pushing just RB or are you using it for multiple size game?

    Just aquired a pedersoli 20 gauge/ 62 cal smoothbore and looking forward to working up some loads for it. Was suprise at the size of the lock, but seems like my smaller flints will work using the lead wrap that came with it. Wondering what everyone's take on this flinter? Have several rifled...
