This was a Mowry kit, from down in Texas prior to them closing down, as per the paperwork and the newspaper the brass forestock was wrapped in. Not sure if anyone has restarted a reproduction line of those.

Thoughts on pedersoli 20 gauge indian trade gun

Interesting learning curve without a rear sight. 50 paces using 70 grains 3F, 4 out of 8 rounds after 2 shots to figure out roughly the cheek weld. Thinking i got a full summer of weekend practice to smooth out the learning curve.

Thoughts on pedersoli 20 gauge indian trade gun

Just aquired a pedersoli 20 gauge/ 62 cal smoothbore and looking forward to working up some loads for it. Was suprise at the size of the lock, but seems like my smaller flints will work using the lead wrap that came with it. Wondering what everyone's take on this flinter? Have several rifled...

Always good to have a little getaway from the city. Always perferred the country to town living, less noise and hustle of everyone. Lol, that and i can harvest off the front deck without anyone calling the law on me.

    Inexpensive Target System

I have made use of an extra mudflap hanging brace to hold a piece of plywood as a portable target stand. Got it from autowreckers cheap, but can be found pretty much anywhere. Pic is from the internet, just cut off the loops on ends and stick in ground.

. 62 trade guns available in canada

Had a look at the other one on CGN, noticed the side plate and guard as well and passed on it. As for price, for the one in Edmonton is little high for me, practically the cost of a new pedersoli. Have looked at the sites down south, but the difference in pesos is a factor. Outlan
