Brought the trade gun out today. Hadn’t even managed to sit down before three deer came out and walked right towards me. When the lead deer was right between those two little trees, 10 yards maximum, I pulled the trigger. At the thunderous KLATCH! of the lock, they about turned themselves inside out getting back into the swamp.
Not 15 minutes later, 4 turkeys came by, but those jerks won’t be in season for a while yet. Not sure what a .575 round ball would have left for me to chew on anyway. 🤣 Got some video any. I’m sitting tight, watching the squirrels- if the bear wanders by, I’ll have collected the whole set!
