I built a trade gun with a 36" barrel and partly to have a shorter barrel for turkey hunting.
I didn't know it should be longer, I mean it makes sense but I figured I could get a load combo I'm happy with.... Still not happy with anything beyond 25. I just want it shooting good to 30, I can handle that "handicap".

25 yards is plenty for turkeys.
