Can a percussion lock and barrel fit into a flintlock stock without any work? (TC HAWKEN stock)
Without any work? You will have to use a screwdriver and possibly some kind of tool to get the barrel wedge out. Don’t know if you consider that ‘work’. I have also heard some say that a small sliver of wood needs to be removed for a percussion lock to fit a stock originally made for a flintlock, though I have never found it necessary.
 
I have some TC locks that will not fit in certain TC stocks. Not always drop-in interchangeable.
I haven't had that problem yet luckily but I did have to auger out some wood when I put my deerslayer trigger in
