The reason your computer wants you to get WinZip is because the calculator is a compressed file and your XP needs a way to uncompress it.

While WinZip sells their latest version 15, the version 10 is available free at this site http://www.oldversion.com/WinZip.html

The latest WinZip is a updated version which is compatible with the Windows 7 but the older one will work fine with your XP.

Once installed your computer will be able to open the zipped file.

You'll have to spend some money for the MV tables.

Buy yourself a copy of the Lyman "BLACK POWDER HANDBOOK & LOADING MANUAL".

It contains hundreds of load combination's for many different muzzleloaders.

Not only that, but it contains a lot of general information about loading and shooting muzzleloaders written by Sam Fadala. Good stuff in my opinion and the book is well worth the money for anyone who is serious about muzzleloading guns.
