Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
Years ago I paid a local gunsmith to remove a broken jag. I was new to the hobby, didn't know how easy it is. The only thing I would do different is use a tin can instead of a good drinking cup.
Lay barrel on side out of the stock. Sprinkle a small pile of Pyrodex about two inches from the Muzzle. Leave in the dark overnight. The jag will work it,s way out to the pile of Pyrodex. Because everything hates Pyrodex...even stuck jags.....
