Yes, that's true for smoothbores, that's why most smoothbore shooters use tow. The affect is counteracted by the spin created by rifling in rifles. :wink:
:hmm: when you wash yer ticking before cutting into strips or patches do you use Downey? We are encouraged to use soft lead...perhaps soft(er) patches is what we have all been searching for :idunno: You heard it here first....will give her a whirl and report.
