Neighbor showed me a .32 caliber Pedersoli rifle that he purchased back in the eighties from Dixon. he has asked me to sell it on Gunbroker. Rifle is immaculate with really nice wood. Its as close to 100 percent as anything I've ever seen. Anybody here have any idea where I should open the bid?

Maybe this is it. Seems a bit pricey.

Out of curiosity, do these small-bore Pedersoli rifles use a smaller barrel than their larger-bore counterparts, or does the barrel just get really heavy?

They use a 13/16 barrel for the 32,36, and 45 cals

And at one time, they used the 13/16" up to .50 cal, at least in the Kentucky/Pennsylvania/Alamo family (I have one), and the Frontier too, I believe. Eventually, they moved the .50s up to the 15/16" barrels.
