As I said in my introduction, joining this forum is to help me fulfill an 18 month quest. Comments, advice, & opinions are very much appreciated and welcome.
First part of my quest will be my first Black Powder hunt. In December of 2024 will be going to Nebraska to hunt deer. Will be hunting out of a tree stand on the river morning & evening. Spot & stock midday. Hopefully I will be able to draw a buck tag this year, but if not a doe for the freezer will be just as good.
For this hunt I plan on using a TC Hawken 50 cal with PRB. Shots from the stand should be 50 yards or less. Shots midday will depend on how close I get. This should be an easy hunt, on private land I have hunted before.
I think this will be a good hunt to work out the bugs of BP hunting, and give me a chance to work things out.
