I’ve been shooting caplocks for several years now and decided to jump into the flintlock rifles and get my feet wet.

I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase a rifle from a good friend that had built this rifle.

It’s a 45 caliber. Has 42” GMB, Siler lock and Davis triggers. I love the way this gun shoulders and shoots.

I still have a lot to learn but I’m certainly having fun while doing it. Thanks to Bob Wilson for building me a fine rifle

That was from only 25 yds. I was filing and drifting my front sight a bit trying to walk my shots in. Haven’t got to shoot it as much as I wanted because of the weather. The last shot was the bulls eye. It may have been luck but that one was a good shot to end the day with.

I love that the last shot was the bulls eye, what a great day shooting right!?

Very nice rifle. Know the builder and a heck of a guy. You need to bring it out on the 27th to show off at the talking rock BPShooters monthly gathering. Take care.
