Music from the Revolutionary War, and how, as much as for entertainment and marching, it was about communicating with the troops and giving commands in battle. Something that continued through the WBTS:


 
Anybody else enjoy old time country style tunes related to muzzleloading and its era?

Here's one of my favorites:


That song was from the War of 1812 and many people think it was responsible for people to this day calling the Pennsylvania longrifle a "Kentucky Rifle".

It is said, Andrew Jackson or his supporters also this song when he was running for the office of President of the U.S.
