I am in the process of completing my Woodsrunner and I decided on do a toe and forearm line. The process of adding the incise lines went better than expected, as I used electrical tape to form a channel around the drawn on line. The tape allowed the V tool and checkering tool to run very true. The line turned out very crisp and much straighter than I anticipated.

Now my dilemma, should I leave the incise line as is or is it more appropriate to have a slightly raised molding line the entire stock? I will not have any other raised molding carvings on the stock.

I’m not sure what is more appropriate. I like how crisp the current incise line looks but I wanted some opinions before I finish the stock.

I’ve always done then raised.
