I want to see a Pedersoli Rocky Mountain Hunter in a flint lock.

I wrote Pedersoli and asked them to make one. The customer service guy wrote me back and told me they make one in the Traditional and Hunter Hawken and I could get one that way.

I replied that I know they make it in the Traditional and the Hunter but I want one in the RMH.

He replied back that he sent my letter to the owner.

I think a good letter writing campaign may get them to do it.

If you would like to see one also please write them and tell them so.

Here is their contact page....... http://www.davide-pedersoli.com/contatti.asp?l=en

How cool would it be to own one of their nice curly maple stocked Hawken in .54 cal and a flint lock.

So in a world where the Pedersoli Rocky Mountain Hawken is considered one of the most beautiful rifles built no one wants it in flintlock.

Was not the half stock Hawken of pre 1840 mostly made in flintlock?

NO

Not a single one has ever been found to exist.

Many believe there "must have been some", but if there was none survived.

Their earliest half stocked rifles that are recognized as Plains/Mountain, built in the 1830's were percussion.

That would explain why nobody wants one. But would it not be cool to have one?
