Common issue, 2 solutions or a combination of the two. The frizzen toe can be reshaped and or the frizzen spring lightened. Reshaping the toe will change the point of opening but will reduce contact duration. Reducing the frizzen spring tension will allow the main to overpower the frizzen increasing contact duration before opening. Lighter springs will increase flint life.
