I have a kit coming with a 34 inch Colerain .58. Im just curious . Any one else have one? How do they shoot? They seem to have a bit faster twist in the .54 and .58 than most barrel makers.

Jack Hubbard built me a rifle with a swamped Colerain .54 caliber barrel, and it was the most accurate muzzleloading rifle I've ever seen. You simply couldn't miss with it.

Have two guns with Colerain barrels, one is a 38" .54 and the other is a 37" .58. Both load easily and shoot well. FWIW, I'm using a .570 ball and .015 patching in the .58.
