I gifted a copy of this book to a gentleman I used to shoot with a couple days a week. His passion was Colt SAA guns. I never bothered to look at it. When he passed a couple years ago, a victim of COVID-19. I got the book back but haven't opened it, I will now.
When you find it, all the build / tuning applies to the open-top platform as well. Except for the arbor fit / principle / headspace . . . but the main basics are the same.
