Last week Hunted the 3 rd period here in Wisconsin..
First 45 min of gooble light they sounded.but not every day..plenty of hens leading toms and jakes around..They had zero interest in calls and decoys..They would get to 40 to 60 yards and lose interest.My hunt was limited to property lines so no running and gunning here.
Congrats on a very successful hunt.
Flintlocks and turkeys!!! Life is Good!
