Project guns were replicas of a Uberti and a Pietta Colt 1851 4th Mod. Navy.

Thanks for the compliment and for trying to identify these Southern pistols.
But no, they are no replications of the L&R but were originally produced in Texas starting later in 1863.
The lower one is a replication of the serial, the upper one is of the extended prototype production.
Both share the Dragoon type S-shaped spring loaded loading lever latch, as opposed to the so called Colt latch of the 1851 Navy.
