62 Cal/20 Gauge Fowler, Getz Barrel, Davis Lock, Curly Maple Stock. Octagon to round barrel is 38" x 1" tapering to 3/4". 14 1/2" length of pull. 55 1/2" overall length. 7 lbs 8 oz. Engraved brass, checkered wrist. Ramrod runs into front lock bolt and sticks out 2 3/4" when inserted. Previous owner removed the lock bolt to accommodate the ramrod, but I replaced it. Chip behind the tang visible in the photo. Round portion of the barrel is bedded. Bore is not mirror bright, but more like a matte finish or frosted. Not pitted or rusty. No makers marks. $1700 plus actual shipping.

Beautiful stock, just the right amount of curl in the right places; the restrained 'homegrown' checkering on the wrist is in balance with the lovely engraving on the furniture. The chip behind the tang almost adds to the ambiance...
