Tried to post this earlier and don’t know where it went.
I received an 1855 musket cartridge box for Christmas and for the life of me I can’t figure out how the strap attached to this box. Probably simple as pie but apparently I am suffering a brain fart and can’t figure it out. If any of the forum members has one of these boxes with the strap attached I would greatly appreciate some help with this puzzle. Pictures would be a great help. This box came from Dixie Gun Works.
