    Reworking my T/C Hawken

I'm a lefty too. Like John Taylor I took a fair amount of wood off of the comb. Close to 3/8" I blended the cheek peice to fit the conture but left the rest. It shot like a completly different gun. I'll keep it until....well until I'm gone.....JJ

    T/C Pennsylvania barrel

The barrel will fit provided you change the under rib that fits between the ram rod and barrel. The Hawken under rib is 15" long. The Penn Hunter is 16 1/2" long. As far as the half round barrel....the change over may take place in the stock of the Hawken and look a bit odd but it should fit. I...

    LEE

I was given a number of thr REAL bullets casted by a friend. I had great results with them. I shot them out of a 50cal TC Hawkens with the QLA. Now I know the QLA is not highly thought of here on the forum but it was designed for shooting Maxi Balls and was ideal for shooting the REAL bullet...

Bernie, They are one in the same. Fox Ridge is located right in front of TC's factory and share the same parking lot. I manage to get up to Fox Ridge at least twice a year as it's only a 2 1/2 hour drive. What will the future bring? I don't know. I've heard they will keep the same CEO so I...

    Powder Crunching

Ok Paul, You have made this into something much more that it started out to be. I said that I liked to seat a ball all in one consistant motion. Not bouncing or tapping. I never once said anything about using brute stregenth or the use of [as you said] "testosterone" All I ever spoke of is...
