    2006 International Handgonne Competition

Thanks. I've been through some tribulations of my own recently, but I'm trying to get back on my feet. Maybe you could judge the first annual North American Handgonne Shoot...? :hmm:

Forum sticker on tour in Iraq

I sent a bumper sticker to DEJ (who's over there) when he joined the forum, but I haven't heard from him since he joined. Don't know if he ever got it.

Good source for a long rifle case

I've been doing some digging and I finally found that other one I mentioned earlier. Holds two long rifles up to 63". The price has gone up, but it's still a bit more affordable than the 'bullet proof' one: http://cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/purchase/products-found.jsp?_requestid=68008

    A long wait finally ends...

Matchlock. I'm not really in the mood to send anyone a bunch of my hard-earned money right now. No custom guns for me for a while. Besides, when it was over, I needed something to cheer me up, so when I got the refund I went out and bought a new pistol. I have other guns that still need some...

    A long wait finally ends...

...although not with the results I had hoped for. I debated posting my experience here, since I didn't want to come across as flaming someone. But with others posting about their problems dealing with other gun builders, I decided to reveal the problem I experienced and let the reader decide...

That's never happened to me. Sounds like it had something to do with that particular rifle.

Any Bobcats or their mates left?

I just made a quick phone call to verify this: Deer Creek Products in Waldron, Indiana has the .50 Mountain Stalker (new in the box) for $109. They also have the .36 Squirrel Rifle (same as a Bobcat) for $149 (fewer of them left maybe?). No website, but here's their number: (765) 525-6181

Anyone read these mountain man books?

http://www.dorchesterpub.com/Dorch/authordetail.cfm?Author_ID=240 I was at my local discount store and found half a dozen of these books from the fiction series, brand new for $1 each. They're about mountain man Nate King and his adventures. Looks like there are a total of 46 books in the...

    An Afghan gun shop

They aren't my pictures, just some I found on the web. My last trip to the middle east was 15 years ago, and the guns I saw then weren't near as pretty.

    GPR wedge problem

I gave mine a slight curve by holding the ends with two pairs of vise grips (pliers or crescent wrenches would also work) with a rag protecting the finish and bending them. Slight pressure was all it took to give them just a bit of a curve. Don't overdo it, bending them too much will make it...
