    Hot Shot Nipple?

    Put a hotshot on my Cherokee .32 several years ago and it will even touch off the nasty stuff (powerdex) with the kiddies capgun caps..cheap practice. Bought a 1000 Remington caps when I got the gun and picked up a few more as time went along,never had a problem with them. lately all i can find...

    Maybe proud metal at breech plug, picture looks like shadow making gap larger than what it really is...maybe replacement barrel/ somebody smarter then me will chime in..

    Recently got to play (coonfinger) with a garner .36 southern mt. rifle..Measured the barrel at 42". it felt heavy but was real steady when shouldered.. thought it probably weighed 9lb.,put it on a scale and it weighed 7 1/2 lb. exactly..carrying where it balanced in my right hand it didna feel...

    A while back I purchased a new old stock Sharon barrel In .660 or 16ga. drop in for my T.c. . Didna get a ramrod with it, going to get one made up by Track when iget me rounds to it.. :wink:

    haven't had anything stuck bad enough that a little lube and bumping the object, then air pressure and so far that is all it has taken..believe i would try the powder trickling next before pumping grease..

    I use a rubber tipped blow nozzle and my air compressor which develops 130 psi and plenty of volume..

    >36 RB would be close to 9mm I think?? divide the weight (grains) of a 9mm rb into 7000grns, that'll give you gauge,methinks..
