    Colerain Turkey Choke Barrel

Could anybody post up any more details on loads for turkey hunting with the Colerain barrel? I haven't hunted with mine in a couple of years and I've lost all of my load info. Thanks!

Can't see my dang sights now

Well, I had cataract surgery on both eyes the last couple of months. My dang distance vision is excellent after the surgeries, but now I can't see the dang back sights on my rifles! Any of y'all had to deal with that?

L&R Manton plate to small Siler?

Well, about 20 years ago I built my first flintlock rifle....a .32 Tenessee rifle with a nice curly maple stock, a Green Mountain barrel, and an L&R Manton lock. I've been getting 40-50 dependable shots from the English flints in a small Siler lock. Is Rich still making flints?

    Original caplock info needed

Can anybody tell me anything about this old rifle? It's got a 36" barrel that's around a .41 caliber, and at least an inch across the flats. A friend stopped by with it today and I told him I'd see what I could find out. Thanks.

Colerain .54/28 gauge suggestions and comments ?

Thanks again to everybody that replied. Tip Curtis is building the gun for me, and it oughtta be done in a couple of months or so. It's an English fowler with a curly maple stock, a round face Chambers lock, and brass fittings.
