List of Muzzleloader Parts?

Hello,

I am wondering if there's a diagram out there someplace listing all parts used on muzzleloaders and their names.

I have down the terminology for modern firearms, but would very much like to memorize the parts of sidelock muzzies, as well.

The most comprehensive listing with photo of a ML and acc's is published in the NRA Basic Muzzleloading Rifle Hand Book. Offers close-up views as well. Full description of everything in the photos is designed to teach how to safely load, fire, clean & store your ML.

Since locks can vary widely, I suggest you get some info from commercial lock makers on that issue.

Josh, you can go to TOW and go through the process of "ordering" one of their "its". You will end up with a parts list.

Dixie Gun Works catalog also has lots of good info. I think they will send you one for around $5.00 .
