anyone have a pattern for a wolf eared hat,i know it's probably a pretty simple project but i would realy like to have a pattern...thanks

Suppliers like Crazy Crow, October Country, Dixie, and others sell patterns for making hats. The hide you use is your choice.

Rex Allen Norman had an artical in Muzzleloader a few years back. He gave a simple plan which I used to make mine. I turned out just like it should. the artical was Wolf earred hoods I believe but Im not sure

Are you thinking of using a real WOLF hide? Or are you calling a coyote a " prairie wolf"????

The Wolf is is a protected species, and possession of any part of a wolf can land you in federal trouble. There are Wolf hides taken in Canada, Where its legal to trap, shoot, and possess body parts, that are sold here, but you want to keep your bill of sale, and receipt to prove origin of your " hat " to avoid expensive litigation.

Wait up guys...I think wolf eared hats are made of blanket material...they are like a small open faced pillow case, the square or pointy edges appear like ears...I dont think they are real
wolf hides, at least not the type Im thinking of.
