Sutherland Wells polymerized tung oil

Do those of you that use the Sutherland Wells products use the sealer, and then use the polymerized tongue oil topcoat? Or would it be better to skip the sealer? I know there are several threads explaining the use of their medium lustre polymerized tongue oil, but I havent seen any discussion of their sealer. Just trying to decide how I would like to finish a project I am about to start. Thanks

Hi,
No, I don't use the sealer. Instead, I thin the first 2 coats of polymerized tung oil 50% with mineral spirits, which serves as a penetrating sealer and then the later coats are not thinned.
