or SOOT is meeting a'gin. This is cut & pasted from an email from Charlie Mebie (Coehorn Boy at MLF):
The SOOT Meeting is this Thursday, August 17th, Ardenwood park (Fremont, CA). The gates open at 6 pm.

I will be on vacation. However, I have a mechanical engineer whom is making calculations for the trebuchet regarding wooden beam size, etc. I will share this info at our September meeting and will post it at the Yahoo Group site.

BTW, I (Gary) learned some Hay-suess (Jesus) jokes at the last SOOT meeting. I won't offend any religious types by repeating them here, but keep your car dirty for the meeting lest the pesky peacock starts staring at your chrome bumpers. Ardenwood Farm's barnyard cat (black Bombay) is a good mouser. She caught a gopher and was tossing it into the air several times before chowing down on it.
