Hi folks
Does anyone use Strikehold for cleaning/preserving their muzzleloaders?
See you through the smoke

For cleaning my muzzleloaders, nothing surpasses hot soapy water. I've been using RIG grease and Barricade (back in the day it was called Sheath)for rust prevention for many decades now.

Neither has ever failed to protect against rust, and I see no need to consider some new stuff that touts the ability to allow you to run your power drill under water.

The Strike Hold website gave me the same impression that other snake oil sellers have. It may be really good stuff, and it may work well for you. If it does, then there is veracity in some of their claims.

Otherwise, they're trying to market it as something to do everything for a broad range of users. And that's a classic marketing ploy.

And BTW, although Miss Gun Girl Ash sports a really flashy set of red Hootarski Suspender straps, I doubt she's a real shooter, but only more of an attractant to the sales table
