SOLD SPF .40 pistol

Up for sale is a nice little .40 cal pistol. Seems well built, but I don't know who built it. Nipple comes out easy and bore is great. $550 tyd

Thank you guys for the questions, unsure on barrel make but it is rifled. I also don't know the lock maker. Yes it has a rear site...

A bore reaching down much further in the barrel would help

I stuck a piece of tin foil down the bore to try and get the flash to reflect back

I will take a pic when I get home. I shot it a handful of times and it did fine, high and to the left for me. I usually stand and shoot offhand at stumps. Not real precise on my end.

Nice little gun. I’m more on the lookout for a flintlock fowler or maybe a .40 caliber rifle, but I was tempted by this one.

Then buy it and not post about it.

Nice little piece. Looks like a converted flintlock to percussion. Maybe from a small Siler .
