A homemade black-powder cannon exploded Saturday at a home on the Oregon Coast, killing one man and injuring three others, deputies said.
Lincoln County deputies said a piece of fragmented metal struck 38-year-old Eric Rose and knocked him unconscious. When paramedics and deputies arrived at the home on S-Low Road in the small town of Seal Rock, they tried to revive Rose, but were unsuccessful, they said.
