friend of mine bought a .36 percussion marked reggie sullivan in script on the barrel. browned with stag nosecap and accents. beautiful and accurate. any info on the builder? i'll try to get a picture of it.

I'm pretty sure Reggie Sullivan is/was from Indiana. A good friend of mine has/had some fire arms he made, and I think my husband had some kind of strange pistol he made-real different if I remember correctly. Will try to find some more info for you on him and get back to you. Susie

I've E-mailed my friend for info-he's probably at hunting camp so may be a while before I hear from him. He probably has Reggie's address and phone number. I know Reggie custom built a rifle for him several years ago. I don't know if he still has it. My husband's pistol had 2 barrels; one was a flint and one was a percussion. One was a 45, I think, and the other was a 29. In order to set the trigger, you had to pull out a knob on the bottom of the grip. I thought that was a little strange, but being a flint rifle shooter, I think a lot of pistol stuff is strange sometimes. He traded it off for something else; he does a lot of that! :hmm: Susie

thanks i'll be happy to wait. going camping this weekend anyway. gonna' (attempt) teach a bunch of scouts the finer points of flint and steel. you can pm me if you want. dave :blue:

The muzzleloader wasn't mine, a friend of mine had purchased it years ago. next time I talk to him I'll ask him if he still has it.
