This weekend (Feb 11th and 12) we will be hosting the Southern Vermont Primitive Biathlon and Winter Shoot. Yes there is practically no snow but the event will still be held and is expected to be a blast as usual.

Have a blast. I did it the first Year it came about. Lots of snow, and freezing cold. You wanted to stay on the move, or your feet would freeze to the ground....Please post a report and pictures if Possible. I miss the Northeast...

I REALLY want to make the trip (I will someday). Would love to see pictures!

Just got back to north Jersey after spending the morning at the Southern Vermont Primitive Biathlon. It was a bone chilling 10F at the start with a strong wind cutting thru the course, unlike yesterday's 40F weather. No snow but a beautiful trail thru the Vermont woods. Eric Severance and his family, and Brew "Mighty Oak" Moscarello put on a great event. A great atmosphere, brave volunteers manning the shooting stations and a local general store keeping everyone warm with hot coffee and pulled pork sandwiches. I'm sure a bunch of photos will be up soon on the event website: www.svtpb.com
Don't miss it next year!
