Buy Recreating the 18th Century powder horn by Scott and Cathy Silby , It is worth the $20 or so . I re read mine after this thread started and have decided to pull to pieces and salvage parts off the horns I made when I first started ML shooting and re build them , instead of looking at them and thinking " what a waste ".
The valve, the measuring spout and fill plug were around $60 delivered so it's worth it to reuse the parts if they're serviceable.
? I had an order promptly filled by them only a few weeks ago.
Must have been a Google glitch. I looked it up and Google had it listed as "permanently closed"
I guess even puters make mistakes. I got the parts, the search is over. Thanks!

The horns are the most serviceable part , but all can be recycled with lots of improvements. Here in New Zealand it is now illegal to truck horned cattle for any purpose , especially slaughter so most horned breeds are dehorned at an early age , making horns hard to find .
