Could you photograph and show any marks on the barrel? I was thinking its belgian but proof marks would tell for sure.

I will see if I can find any markings on the barrel. I believe it was built by Joseph Simmons, Birmingham England some, time between 1801 to 1830. I found one that looks close that sold in auction but nothing exact

Hi,
It looks to be a nice late flint private purchase English officer's pistol. Probably made around 1810-1820. Value might be around $1200-$1500 if it has clear British proof marks. At auction on a good day, it might go a little higher.

This is the only thing on the barrel. Simmons with a symbol I can make out

Would there be markings under the barrel. Tried to list on here but doesn’t look like I have credentials to post
