SOLD Outstanding .62 Hawken w/Extra .44 Barrel

This rifle is a real stunner. It is a .62 Hawken rifle with Premium Tiger Maple stock. Grain is gorgeous. The rifle has been used, but very well maintained. Browning on the .44 barrel shows edge wear. The .62 barrel retains most of its brown. The 35" barrels (both) have twist in the mid to high 1:60s. Both bores bright and shiny. The .62 has round bottom rifling. Maker of barrel unknown, but someone may be able to decopher markings (see photos). The Tiger Maple stock has some really nice figure. Checkered at wrist. Iron fittings with two barrel keys. Ron Long lock. Very minimal handling marks. LOP is 14.5 ", so a Big Boy rifle. Sold as a set only, as barrels are custom fit. Weighs 11 lbs with .62 barrel installed. Package is priced at $1900 + Shipping.

With .62 about 11lbs. With .44 probably 13 lbs. My small postal scale kept throwing Error code.

I don't like to sound negative but what is that on the lock side of the hammer and the lock bolster, corrosion? Same thing on the muzzle. The inletting and finishing is superb. Nice looking rifle.

The inside of hammer looks like casting. Muzzle of the .44 has some minor corrosion, but doesn't extend into bore. Just minor discoloration on bolster notch.
